INDUSTRIAL LIFT develops a special trailer for heavy-duty trestles
A new special project by INDUSTRIAL LIFT is ready for delivery to Fincantieri's shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy. The machine is an 80 ton trailer designed to handle heavy-duty trestles within the shipyard.
To carry out this task, the self-propelles trailer features a dedicated configuration combining an extended load platform with an elevated driver cabin, designed to provide the operator with a better view during manoeuvres.
A configuration designed for handling operations
The platform is designed to slide underneath the trestles. By raising the trailer's wheel groups, the machine can lift the trestles and move them between different areas of the shipyard.
The elevated driver cabin makes it easier to monitor the trailer and the load during operations. The reversible driving position also allows the operator to adapt their orientation to the direction of travel, facilitating both loading manoeuvres and travel with the load on board.
All operations are controlled directly from the cabin via the onboard controls, allowing the operator to manage the trailer's movements and lifting operations.
The combination of load capacity, platform configuration and cabin design enables the trailer to handle heavy-duty trestles with a single machine within the Monfalcone shipyard.
